Start: 5-18-09   18:30

End: 5-18-09    21:00

Qwirk Columbus: 595 1/2 S. 3rd St.
Columbus, OH 43215

This will be the first of many monthly meetings giving the Columbus entreprenurial community the opportunity to hear from leaders in the city, discuss ideas and issues and network with others in the area.

Our speaker will be Mr. Greg Ubert, Founder and President of Crimson Cup Coffee and Tea. His focus topic will be growing a business in a down economy. We will then open up the floor for questions and discussion.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Optimism meets economic reality.
  • Asking the question: “How do we grow?” vs. “How do we stay the same?
  • Then: franchise model – economy/credit shut down opportunities
  • Now: franchise model PLUS “I want to buy your coffee” - opening new possibilities and preserving the old mode.
  • How it changed the business (growth, processes, results focused)
  • Impact of change (scalable … same thing, different format; move resources from marketing to sales)

Shiny Door will be hosting the event at Qwirk Columbus Coworking. We look forward to the chance to learn from each other.
